Now this is a book!!!!
I’m so glad I found this treasure. I’m sure that the fast changing ethics of our current society would have certainly made this masterpiece a topic of criticism if it had been a recent publication. In any case I loved the history and this authors style. It may even be my favorite historical novel to date.
I’m only surprised I never got an answer to his grandfather and Renaldo’s fate. Perhaps it’s covered in another book. I’ll soon find out.
