From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author J. Kenner comes a new story in her Stark International series…
Aspiring actress Jamie Archer is on the run. From herself. From her wild child ways. From the screwed up life that she left behind in Los Angeles. And, most of all, from Ryan Hunter—the first man who has the potential to break through her defenses to see the dark fears and secrets she hides.
Stark International Security Chief Ryan Hunter knows only one thing for sure—he wants Jamie. Wants to hold her, make love to her, possess her, and claim her. Wants to do whatever it takes to make her his.
But after one night of bliss, Jamie bolts. And now it’s up to Ryan to not only bring her back, but to convince her that she’s running away from the best thing that ever happened to her—him.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

A great start to a Jamie and Ryan’s Story
Tame Me is the first of four novellas in a spin-off of the Stark International series by J Kenner. These 1001 Dsrk Nights stories are about Nikki Stark’s best friend, Jamie Archer, and Damien Stark’s best friend and Head of Security, Ryan Hunter. Aspiring actress, Jamie Archer, was on the run from herself, her wild child ways, and most of all from Ryan Hunter - the first man who had the potential to break through her defenses. Ryan Hunter knows only one thing for sure—he wants Jamie. Wants to do whatever it takes to make her his. But after one night of bliss, Jamie bolts. And now it’s up to Ryan to not only bring her back, but to convince her that she’s running away from the best thing that ever happened to her--him. I loved this novella. I first read it in 2018, and reread it recently in preparation for the ARC of a new addition to the series. Jamie is a woman who is full of life and whose life was a mess. What she needed was someone to ground her and that is what Ryan is for her. Ryan had been drawn to Jamie since meeting her, but he didn’t want to be just another notch on her bedpost. He was absolutely compelling, a gorgeous alpha-male who was willing to support all of Jamie’s aspirations while giving her the safety, ability to let go, and acceptance she craved. Their story is perfectly paced and exquisitely written and left the reader hungry for more of their story. These novellas can be read on their own or interspersed between other Stark International novels in chronological order. I highly recommend this novella for readers who enjoy spicy, contemporary romance. You cannot go wrong with this author. I would like to thank 1001 Dark Nights and J Kenner for this ARC. This honest review was written voluntarily and the opinions expressed are my own.
Loved Ryan...
I wish, I wish, I wish this was a novel. I'd love to see an in depth look into Jamie and Ryan's life. This really can't be read alone. It needs to be read after The Stark Trilogy. This is a quick read. A quick yummy read.
Ok book
This was a ok book. It was good but I wish it wasn't rushed and could have been a series like D&N. I would have loved to get to know each of them better. Other than that it was a good book.
