Great book, even better album
If you like this book be sure to look for the eponymous album by Ahab. Their musical genius amalgamates horrific literature with funeral doom metal, creating a soundscape that makes you feel like you’re lost at sea on a raft and just when land is visible and all seems fair a rouge wave comes and shatters your plank and sends you deep down to the abyss.
