It was going to be a witchy kind of day…
Working at the Ola Boutique wasn’t in Caitlin’s plans, but it provides the perfect opportunity to build a following for her Tarot readings, and to search for whoever killed Ted Thatcher. Her destiny, standing for truth and justice, demands she find the murderer, and free Ola Boutique’s owner, Hannah Matthews, from being convicted of a crime she didn’t commit.
New to working with her Wiccan heritage, Caitlin casts her first circle with unexpected and disturbing results that lead her into uncharted territory.
How will Caitlin find the guilty witch when she’s barely dipped her toes into the Craft? And what if the guilty witch really is Hannah?
This is the second of three episodes in this series created by L.j. Charles. The main character, Caitlin, was originally introduced in the Everly Gray series and now she has a story of her own to tell. It is great fun getting to know more about Caitlin and her newly found "abilities". The books are filled with humor, mystery, murder, and a bit of romance to round it all out.
If you have never read anything by L.j. Charles, you are in for a real treat. I am positive that you will enjoy this as much as I have. If you crave more of L.j. Charles' work (it is addictive), you might even try the Everly Gray series. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy!
Even better than the first
Even better than the first. I read it in a couple hours and loved it. The romance is growing and Caitlin is still on the hunt for a murderer. I really like Caitlin and Jace. They're great characters that complete each other. I can't wait to read the third part of the series because this one had one heck of a cliffhanger.
