Publisher Description
A bargain with an expiration date and we both get what we want. That’s what I agreed to. That’s what he promised.
Brooks Kincaide.
Rude.
Cocky.
And far too sexy for his own good.
He’s now my husband—even if our union is fake and our families hate each other.
Our deal helps us both.
No strings. No sex. And no falling in love.
We’re strictly business.
I save my ailing ranch and Brooks takes control of Canyon Spring—his rightful legacy.
But we soon realize we have more in common than boiling family tensions and a shared property line.
I can’t stop thinking about him, and though I pretend not to like it, every time he calls me darlin’, I get weak in the knees.
Now the lines between business and marriage blur, and that’s when everything falls apart.
I should have known better than to make a deal with a Kincaide.
Or more like the devil.
Because I stand to lose not only my ranch, but also my heart.
Customer Reviews
Suspenseful
I loved the underlying intensity between these characters. I felt like they were meant to be together yet they didn’t seem to realize it at the start. The authors crafted a story with drama and suspense which was palpable and I loved every minute of it.

Family Enemies
Wow! Addie and Brooks know of each other but do not run in the same circles. Their families hate each other! After some circumstances, Addie proposes that they join forces to advance a plan for the perspective ranches. Brooks decides to do that, they need to enter into a marriage of convenience. Of course, they decide that this is purely business and no feelings involved.
This book was a great read to enjoy. This is a fantastic way to start a series.

Soap Opera Family
This has all the makings of a great series. The characters are really developed in such a manner that are both intriguing and hoping they will not be that way towards each other. Enjoyed the main characters as they make a deal that will benefit them both, put you can never predict just when you’ll develop those pesky feelings. Loved the realization for them and what just might be lost. Looking forward to reading more about this family.
