Publisher Description
One reckless, mind-blowing night with the sexiest man in town. That’s all I wanted. I got it and then some. Now I’m pregnant with my future at stake.
Ridge Kincaide.
Dominant.
Stubborn.
Sinfully possessive.
His family is small town royalty and I’m from the proverbial wrong side of the tracks.
We don’t mix, and a baby is the last thing either of us needs.
But when I tell him the news, he claims to want us both.
Determined to win me over, he entices me with the idea of a home and life for us and our child.
Call it hormones, lust, or insanity, but my heart’s all in—even if my head knows better.
No doubt Ridge could give me the family I've never had and always wanted.
But how can I trust the future he promises—or more importantly, him?
Life has taught me one sure thing. Nothing this good is ever real.
He’s a Kincaide and bound to ruin me.
Customer Reviews
A hot rancher willing to do anything to get the girl? Yes, please.
The scene is set for some spectacular fireworks when a one night stand leaves Ridge aching for Lacy, the feisty bartender he shouldn’t want, but can’t get out of his head. This book has an arranged marriage, an accidental pregnancy and so much heat! Ridge is an alpha cowboy and Lacy’s the girl from the wrong side of the tracks and the two of them together practically set fire to the page. I loved Lacy’s determination to retain her independence just as much as I loved Ridge’s efforts to win her heart and claim her body. The Cowboy Hitch is the second book in the Canyon Ranch series and it’s filled with gossipy small town charm, a very healthy dose of heat and a side of Dynasty intrigue. Fast-paced and spicy, it’s the perfect low-angst read.
Making a family
I loved reading this book! Lacy and Ridge do not run in the same social circles. They are about as opposite as possible. Ridge is privileged and wealthy while Lacy’s parents were drug dealers. After a hot, steamy one night stand together, Lacy finds out that she is pregnant.
Lacy tries to let Ridge off the hook but he wants in. He wants her and the baby and is willing to do whatever it takes. Not everyone is happy with this situation and try to stop them from being together.
This book was an emotional roller coaster and I loved the ride! This author does an amazing job with this book!
