This book blew me away, I love Houston and Allison’s bond. There been each other rock throughout the years, but I’m surprised Houston never picked up on Al’s love for him. What’s even more shocking is that it took something bad happening to Al for her to realize the town’s been talking about for awhile. As shocking as that maybe I gotta say I love how Houston set some of them straight at Toot’s. I must say there is no doubt in my mind that Al and Houston are made for each other. I have to give it to Al for hiding her secret for without Houston knowing. I do love that Al finally get her man only to hide it to protect him as much as herself. It was such a priceless moment that almost brought tears to my eyes. What I love most about this book is that The Carson men are always there for each other when it truly counts. Above all the juices will get you all the time.

Houston and Allison
My favorite of best friends to lovers. Great second book to this series about Houston and Allison, I don’t want to give anything away, other than this has a ton of emotions and some secrets are revealed. Enjoying how each of these stories are running simultaneously, which shows how well these have been developed and planned. Can’t wait to read the next in this series as to which brother will win the prize.
