Nutritional information is provided for each dish, enabling calorie-counting cooks to keep track of their intake. Still, adding fruit or granola to cereals and yogurt is nothing new, and his "Almost Homemade Salsa" includes processed salsa, which runs counter to his advice. Those looking for a revelatory diet will likely find this to be all similar to other titles in the genre.

Some good, some not
This cookbook has some wonderful breakfast, lunch and snack recipes. I have prepared some of the beef, fish and poultry recipes but the instructions are too vague. My husband insists we go out for dinner! Also the marinara sauce is so acidic! My own tastes better even without a teaspoon of sugar. Have also made the stock recipes...they are certainly less overwhelming than the store bought variety.
