The Girl from Montana
Publisher Description
A lovable girl upon whom fate has thrust an unbearable burden of trouble, alone in the mountains of Montana and threatened by a man whom she has every cause to hate and fear, arms herself, mounts a horse, and bravely rides away. Thus begins a journey leading East to grandparents of a widely divergent social station. Her experiences are novel and sometimes humorous, but through them all she never quite forgets a certain tenderfoot who befriended her for a short time on her lonely journey.

A Heroine’s Tale
An unexpected journey full of twists and turns, sadness, terror, and joy. A surprising story that will keep you turning pages. A clean heart felt story that shows God’s goodness. He uses all for your good, if you just have faith and persevere. Thank you for an enjoyable adventure.
Simply lovely
GLH stories remind me of Jane Austen (without the satire) as her heroines are rewarding with dashing men of fortune. Fun sweet little story of a poor Montana girl with determination and a lot of luck.
Would have liked to see more development on her transformation: her education and personal growth more. Still nice light read to destress.
Loved it!
Started a little slow and different, but with a little perseverance became absolutely absorbing! An excellent picture of how Christ takes us, dirty and nasty creatures we are and cleans us up, step by step, to the wonderful grooming and inheritance He intended for each if us as individuals before He even created us!
