Fantastic but the ending…
The strife, the love, the heartache… this series is phenomenal, however the endings absolutely are horrendous. It could have used at least 3 more chapters to help it end. It left Sutton and Harpers final blowout severely lacking and would have loved some finality between Harper and Christopher. All in all, fantastic book.
Not what I would have expected
The story is short. You never get a chance to know the characters. Nothing really catches your attention to keep you reading. Hard to lose your self in the book. Hard to let your imagination wander with the story.
It’s definitely a quick read with a lot of sex.
Love Hurts So Good!
You have to read Survival of the Richest first, because this book starts out 6 months after that book ends. To me, this book is about the evolution of love & the evolution of Harper - finding love, love hurting, losing love & rebuilding love. I felt so much for Harper in this book, & this book, as a whole, took me on a roller coaster of emotions. Without spoilers, I am happy with who Harper chose in the end. I still wish we could have gotten Christopher’s & Sutton’s POV, but this duet made me feel & took me on an intense journey that I will not forget.
