The over-the-top aspects of Smoak's life, which include sleeping on a bed "held three feet off the floor by herculean magnets," and the many plot contrivances demand a lot from readers. Fans of Robert Ludlum's action-packed novels featuring another skilled killer protagonist looking to do the right thing, Jason Bourne, are most likely to be satisfied.

Pretty good
I thought this book was fine but it seemed short and unlike pretty much all of the other Orphan X books it seemed to only feature one problem for the protagonist to face instead of the two that form into one. It had all of the elegant writing that Greg Hurwitz executes in all of his books but the story just felt like it was missing something.
Not liking where this is going
Have read all of the Orphan X books and enjoyed them immensely but, something has changed. This book was preachy. Woke preachy. Hearing that it’s worse in the next book. Time to find a new series and move on. So disappointed

One of my favorites yet
