From washing the dishes to answering the phone to peeling an orange, he reminds us that each moment holds within it an opportunity to work toward greater self-understanding and peacefulness.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Esteemed Zen master Hanh presents his approach to achieving a state of mindful awareness and inner peace, and provides strategies and exercises intended to help people awaken to the present moment. The selection of John Lee as narrator proves surprisingly perfect. Though there may be an initial disconnect in hearing Lee's deep, British-accented voice read the words of a Zen Buddhist from Vietnam, listeners will be won over very quickly. Despite his projective voice, Lee ably captures the calm and peaceful nature of Hanh's prose. Additionally, Lee maintains an emotional coolness that mirrors the author's writing and embodies his beliefs. Given the skill of Lee's performance, listening to the audiobook may prove more compelling and enlightening than reading the print edition. A Beacon paperback.

Mindfulness Journey
This book literally changed my life and my approach to things. It’s a very great starter to someone starting on their mindfulness journey. It’ll give you a lot of insights on certain aspects of the world not talked about enough. Initially certain aspects of the book rarely makes sense but my advise would be to keep been open minded and halfway through you’ll start getting a lot of things been explained very well.
