Publisher Description

The goal of META Solutions’ Research and Development program was to develop innovative learning environments across central Ohio. These Next-Generation Learning Environments focused on three specific Measures of Success: Personalization, Student Growth, and Engagement. To accomplish these measures, META implemented an innovation model similar to those used by businesses to develop new products.

The goal of Ryan Mocarski’s project is to have a “flipped classroom” for an 8th grade science class. Students watch video lectures for homework, thus freeing up class time to develop knowledge about advanced concepts through project based learning that meet the appropriate content standards.
