Finding Your True Passion
Presley Richardson is on her way to the alter when she overhears her fiancé telling his groomsmen he’s only marrying Presley to secure the CEO position once his father retires. Devastated, Presley makes it back to the room to undress and escape out the nearest window. Presley runs, half naked, to the only car pulling into the drive and asks for a ride. The driver is suspicious, but Presley does the twin switch and tells the driver she’s someone else.
Sebastian does not want to be at the wedding of his stepbrother, but promised his dad he would be there. Only, once he arrives, a beautiful woman sprints across the lawn and asks for a ride. He agrees—not realizing she’s his stepbrother’s runaway bride. But he’s intrigued. After dropping her off, he receives a call from his dad saying the wedding’s off and Sebastian realizes he’s just aided in destroying his stepbrother’s wedding. Feeling duped, Sebastian returns to Presley’s home to confront her and maybe even get information from her that he can use against his stepbrother. I have not had the privilege of reading the first two in the series, but can’t wait to go back to read the first two novels. This novel is truly enjoyable and can be read as a stand alone. I loved the talks between Sebastian and Presley. I loved how Presley stood up for herself—even though it was painful to let Sebastian go. Sebastian’s “assistance” with Presley’s darkest fantasies...sooo HOT! I love stories where people do a little soul searching and discover there’s something more to life than money. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
