September, October, even November and December, compose the season for enjoyment in the open air; they have their storms, but they are distinct, and not of long continuance, leaving a clear atmosphere and a cloudless sky.

Good not great
I read this like a year ago but I still remember a little of it. It was really good as far as I can remember, but I guess I just couldn’t get into it I guess. I mean, I have become a better reader since then so maybe if I read it again I’d understand it more. But, to my knowledge, it was a good book👍
An great story about the founding of our country!
This book is a treasure. If it is the first American novel, it set a high standard for literature in America. I loved the book!
