"If you like steamy romance then I dare you to read the first page." --The Sexy Editor
Thunderstorms, baseball, and memories…
They make for a potent combo. At least they do for me, especially when they come in the shape of Jake Spencer. He's the one that got away, the man who taught me thunderstorms were an aphrodisiac and baseball was foreplay. My memories of him are my most treasured...and the ones that haunt me the most.
So when he returns to town sexy, successful, and with eyes only for me, I'm torn. Do I give in to my desire and risk losing him, and my heart, all over again?
Oh, who am I kidding? I've always loved him and I probably always will. Get cozy and let me tell you the story of what happens when you give the love of your life a second chance.
Book #1 of The Storm Inside Series. It is a stand alone second chance romance with a happily ever after, but the characters continue in the rest of the series. This is a full length, 85k word, novel.

Eve and jake…
This book kept me wanting to keep reading . It was exciting and they persevered. But I cannot believe ,, while it ends, their story continues in book 2….noooo I do not like this, wish I knew it in advance,,
Strong, smart, and sexy female lead
I love romance novels, but become very bored with weak female characters. The Storm Inside delivers not only a compelling story full of romance and steamy scenes between the two main characters, but the lead character Eve is smart, sexy, and sassy. She's one strong woman! All of the characters in the book are multidimensional helping to create a very interesting, rich story. I found myself staying up late into the night to continue reading, anxious to find out how Jake and Eve were going to work out their relationship. With all of the twists and turns, all of the sudden surprises, I was not disappointed with the story ending! Reflected in the Rain, the sequel, is at the top of my reading list for the summer! I can't get enough of Eve and Jake!
It started off good.
I liked it at the beginning, but half way through, it just dragged. It could’ve been a shorter book. I like books that have both characters point of view. In this case, it was just hers and it got boring. These two characters need therapy and I don’t say that ever.
