A great read!

My all time favorite book. Full of intrigue and suspense. I couldn't put it down.

One of the best Jack Ryan Books

Absolutely nothing like the movie...not even remotely close. This is a good thing! Clancy really puts Jack through the ringer and brings into light terrorism at its highest scale. Must read for those who like great books.

Ricky Roxdahouse ,

The sum of all fears

The majority of this story is about finding the right materials the right people and getting everything together to build a nuclear bomb from one left over from the Arab-Israeli war in 1967 or maybe it was in 1972. Anyway its here that Clancy gets completely wrapped up in all the details of building the bomb and loses track of where when and how this thing is going to be used. Only at the very end of his reverie does he rush to his desk and quicker than anything type out maybe 40-odd pages of what the book was all about from the very start! As though the entire plot was a last minute afterthought.
