The taxman cometh
Have enjoyed all Mr. Falby's books. If you haven't read the sleeping dogs books, you are in for a treat.
A great writer creates a book that the reader always needs to read one more chapter.
Looking forward to the second taxman book and the next sleeping dogs book.
Unrealistic and childish.
Shockingly awkward, unnatural and unrealistic dialog throughout the entirety of the book. Almost embarrassingly bad. Add that to undeveloped and unrealistic “characters” it’s shocking that this novel made it through editing. Had to force myself to finish it. Hate to be so harsh but my god.. abysmally awful. By far the worst book I’ve read in years.
Exciting
I’m a huge fan of John Wayne Falbey. His Sleeping Dogs series is off the charts exciting. His newest work, The Taxman Cometh, doesn’t disappoint. The main character Finn O’Casey is a partner in a tax firm. But, his background as a special operations war fighter had him doing wet work for the government as part of a clandestine outfit called The Group. O’Casey teams up with the former members of The Group to track down and eliminate the parties responsible for the death of his wife and child. There is just a ton of action and a surprising plot twist in his latest work. It’s a must read.
