The Unauthorised Bible

This, the second volume of the series, is a selected set of revised versions of the scriptures of the ‘less supported’ established religions of the world: Jainism, Sikhism, Sufism, Shintoism, Baha’ism, Paganism, together with the works of the later mystics and poets, sundry esotera, the Gnostic gospels from Christianity, a couple of apocryphal pieces from Judaism, a construction from the Kabbalah, and a heterodox sutra from Hinduism. All the texts been transliterated to conform, insofar as that is possible, with modern scientific understanding and a liberal, in its widest sense, political agenda, and hopefully to make them easier to read.
