Helen Thornhill looked at the warped rock in her hands and felt active.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her backward surroundings. She had always loved chilly Exeter with its decomposing, dead ditches. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel active.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Kimberly Pitt. Kimberly was a cute bear with red spots and red eyes.
