The book was especially enjoyable for me,as I had read it when I was a child. It gives the reader a glimpse into bygone years. The story follows the adventures of three elderly ladies as they travel through the west and their never ending interference into the of others. Tish leads them and Aggie and Lizzie follow sometimes against their better ideas. Much to the enjoyment of the reader a happy ending is always the outcome.
