Publisher Description
"The way that Big Money got to be Big Money was by also being the 'Smart Money', and so it is worth paying attention to how the Big Money traders behave. That's the essence of what Larry Williams has to teach us in this book. And it's not just what the Smart Money says or thinks, but how they behave in terms of their trading that we should pay attention to. Larry shows us how to listen to that message."
—Tom McClellan, Editor of The McClellan Market Report
"Finally, an insider's take on what really goes on behind the scenes in commodity trading. Larry writes his view of trading, as only he knows it, from his twenty-five years of experience."
—James Altucher, author of Trade Like a Hedge Fund

If you are a serious futures trader this is a very good book to add to your library.
Mr. Williams is a seasoned trader and he has done outstanding research and homework on the COT for his readers. Just a couple of things to consider - primarily that I wish Mr. Williams would do a 2nd edition.
The examples are from the 1980’s up through the mid 2000’s. The data appears to be focused on the futures reports from those periods. Futures options have become a huge part of these markets and it isn’t clear if using the futures + options combined reports would change his analysis and conclusions (I use the futures + options data and some of my indexes are different than his).
Additionally, the data is now available in disaggregated format as well as futures + options and it isn’t clear if there are different conclusions to be drawn from the recent disaggregated data format.
The charts in the iPad version are small, but tapping them helps. However, the limitations of converting a previous text only version to iBooks is apparent and his charts are invaluable to the subject, another good reason for a new version.
One final comment: When an author mentions his website and/or subscription service more than once it is annoying to have to pay for advertising.
This is well worth the time and money to read, but realize there are some limitations.
