Not the best John Wells book
But it's a good read, and I'll be interested to see where the aging operative goes next.
Could be better
This story is told in two books, which I can appreciate. The complexity of the plot is truly awesome. Radical Islam and a rogue state with an oppressive regime do not, however, make good victims. An evil billionaire and war-hawk politicians I can believe. Hatred taught from birth is, sadly, a real phenomenon. Iran as victim? No. Just no.
