Curiosity got me in it…
The description of this book hooked me, mainly because I’m NOT a very good cook (much less a chef) and I have been known to be a fussy eater. I expected to two main characters to challenge one another longer, but I was happy they renewed the affection they had had earlier. I watched their love renew and blossom, and I enjoyed Luke’s telling of the story. I confess I don’t like the cooking shows of which this is one, but I got a better feeling for them as this progressed. Probably my lack of culinary experience and skills will continue, but I do appreciate this story in spite of that.
