Great followup!
After reading Asher's story I was so curious about Tyler; we had so many bombshells about him that I really didn't know what to expect. I really didn't expect the Tyler that showed up, he was so different than the Tyler that had been there when Asher was in the hospital. That made me so curious!!
It was so sad what Tyler had gone through, and he went through it by himself! This poor guy!! I loved that he came back to make things right with Ash, and I really love that he came back for Erin. These two had so much history, which we also got a small idea of what had happened in Asher, but I couldn't wait to see what happened.
JO DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! There were so many layers and emotions that I couldn't stop reading. I read this whole book in almost one sitting! I cannot wait to keep going!!!

This book is a second chance romance. Tyler and Erin fell in love as teenagers but unforeseen circumstances forced Tyler to leave. Now 4 years later he is back in their hometown to reconnect with his brother. He has no hope that Erin will ever want to see him. When they come face to face again the same spark is still there. Can they look past old hurts and secrets to regain the love they once shared? This is a story with a lot of angst and some triggers. Jo Raven writes gut wrenching stories with characters who have survived so much pain and heartache.
Loved Tyler but not the girl
I disliked Erin from the start (Ash’s book). I found her to be shallow and immature. I realize she’s only 19 but her circumstances should have made her grow up overnight. Mature. Unfortunately, not in her case.
I felt really bad for Tyler and what he went through. It was amazing that he survived. He definitely deserved that dragon tattoo.
