Publisher Description
Get ready to deck the halls… and dodge the flying ornaments.
Sadie Harper blew into Pineville, Michigan with one plan: sell her late grandmother's house, cash the check, and escape before anyone could force eggnog on her. Then she commits one teensy-weensy murder of a parked truck (no one was even inside!), and suddenly her holidays have gone from 'Ho, Ho, Ho,' to one hot mess.
Now she's stuck doing a week of court-ordered community service—decorating the town Christmas tree right alongside the grumpy, flannel-wearing contractor whose truck she demo'ed. And if the look in his eyes is any indication, he's not willing to forgive and forget.
Colt might want to deck something, but it isn't the town tree. Especially when the bossy, perfectly-put-together blonde micromanages every ornament he hangs and every strand of lights he strings. But between the candy canes and the tinsel, Colt finds himself doing the one thing he swore he wouldn't: falling for the one girl he knows he can't have.
Too bad Sadie was never planning to stay. And if she leaves, she just might take his merry little Christmas with her.
Under the Christmas Tree is a laugh-out-loud holiday rom-com packed with small-town Christmas cheer, forced proximity, enemies-to-lovers banter, and one very determined perfectionist who might just steal a grumpy Grinch's heart. Perfect for fans of second chances, opposites attract romance, grumpy sunshine, and the magic of mistletoe.

Under the Christmas tree
This was a wonderful cute quick read. I loved Sadie and colt together. They were likable characters with the wonderful chemistry. The storyline was wonderful with a small town setting that had me laughing at times. I recommend the story.

An enjoyable HEA
At first I wasn’t sure if this was going to be just another Christmas romance and was pleasantly surprised by a number of aspects. Cole and Sadie didn’t have a “love at first sight” type of meeting and the complexities of what they each brought the the table were interesting. Loved the backstory to Cole’s love of his truck and Sadie’s relationship with her parents, specifically her dad. There was some”mature” content, yet not explicit which I prefer. A fun read!.
