One of my favorite Wodehouse books
I've read approximately half of P.G. Wodehouse's 97 novels and this one might actually be my favorite. It's difficult to say definitively, however, since it's like picking your favorite son or daughter. This book is not only funny (no one can turn a humorous phrase like Wodehouse), but it also has some great wisdom contained within its pages (e.g. "My dear chap, better is it for a man that he marry a sympathetic gargoyle than a Venus with a streak of hardness in her."). Being married to a beautiful woman myself, I can tell you that if she wasn't also a sweet person, marriage would be unbearable. Physical beauty fades very quickly. Anyway, if you're looking for a fun, light-hearted read that will get you smiling and even make you stop and think once in a while, then don't hesitate to download this "freebie." If your taste in books runs anywhere along the same lines as mine, you'll be very glad you did.
Delightful
Wodehouse is really stepping into his prime here. Good story, pleasant characters, funny and touching. Loved it.
