Publisher Description
Facing the darkness is their only way back to the light.
After a horrible accident while filming the third episode of Project Demon Hunters, Audrey Barrett can’t get the if onlys out of her head. If only she hadn’t tried to play hero. If only she’d stayed out of the way. In the end, Michael sent the demon in question back to hell…but at a terrible cost.
The cable network has pulled the plug on the show, and they’re all out of a job. Now there’s nothing left to do but tie up loose ends. At least Audrey still has Michael, alive and by her side. But those loose ends are a clear sign — gouged deep in oak — that the demon who’s been making their lives miserable isn’t through with them after all.
They have no choice but to confront evil on its own ground. But if they can’t pin a name on this demon, nothing will save them…not even an ocean of holy water.

Excellent
Unholy Ground by Christine Pope was an excellent third part to the Project Demon Hunters series.

Michael and Audrey are out of a job. The studio has officially shut down filming and wants all of the tapes. Colin is not going down without a fight, and he keeps a copy so they can be accidentally released.
But that isn’t even the beginning of the drama! Susan’s landlord calls Michael about Susan’s things since his is the only number she has. Michael and Audrey are shocked to discover that Susan wasn’t really Susan but someone else who had married the demon back in the 40’s! The only thing is a picture of them on their wedding day. No wonder Susan wasn’t spooked by demons!
But now Susan is dead, then Colin is murdered and the tapes disappear, and finally Audrey’s house is burned to the ground.
The only safe place is Michael’s warded house, but Audrey and Michael can’t stay safe when the Whitcomb demon is still at large. So they keep hunting with the help of good research people, they figure out what name he was using in that picture. And if they have his name, they can find his property, right?
I loved this book! Every time things calmed down, something else weird happened and got me back on the edge of my seat! I was yelling at the book at one point! The characters are great, complete with flaws.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
The Until.
I love the first book, absolutely could not put it down. This book seemed to lack the excitement and pulse-quickening desire to read the words. I think it’s lacking the out of the house and damage the book and series is supposed to represent.
