Unrelenting
I enjoyed reading about the characters in this book. Sometimes the writing was simple, too simple. But I could get past that until it became more more substantial. It was a little annoying to keep reading how “Q” only wanted to invent things for the good of the people. Even though many of his inventions could and were used in non helpful ways. He still owed his livelihood to royalties received from his inventions.
I just purchased the 2nd book, “Unyielding” in this trilogy. I’m hoping it will grow with the characters and be more full bodied in substance.

The two main characters are so very well-developed. Easy to read and hard to put down!
Unique glimpse into pre-Nazi German life
This book took me by surprise. The author’s words beautifully capture mundane day-to-day life without being, for even one page, boring. Political and social changes are viewed through various relationships, each character offering perspectives of the country in flux. The romance is darling. I am captivated - ordering the next two books right now! Am happy that proceeds will further awareness to history and the value of every person!
