Publisher Description
The past and present unravel into staggering truths in this can’t-miss installment of the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series told entirely from Keefe’s point of view.
Please be careful. Please be happy. And PLEASE forget all about me. It’ll be better for everyone that way.
Those were the last words Keefe Sencen wrote to Sophie Foster before he ran away to the Forbidden Cities. He didn’t want to leave, but it was the only way to keep his friends safe while he figured out how to control his scary new powers and searched for answers about his past.
What he found was so much more than adventures in Humanland.
Where did he go? What did he do? And who did he meet while the rest of his friends worked to solve the mystery of Stellarlune? The answers go far beyond anything anyone could have ever imagined and give Keefe the power to change his destiny.

Keefe pov, yay :3
This one is my favorite keeper book in the whole series, mainly because it’s in Keefe’s POV, Alvar’s pancake rants, and the bonus chapter that retells Stellarlune’s chapter 42 (the best chapter in the series, if you ask me) in Keefe’s POV! This book is a 8/10 in my opinion. The only reason I give it a 8/10 is because of the gay parts. Younger children shouldn’t be reading that, and some ppl I knew weren’t even allowed to read it because of that. So I’m hoping book 10 is different. Anyways, I still love this book, just not those two parts...
Amazing👌
This was probably one of my fav KotLC books! I love how Keefe reacted to different culture's (especially the drop-bears) and how different it is from what he's used too. I am also so glad that the bonus scene was added, I would have been so sad if I didn't get to see that from keefe's point of veiw. Keep up the good work!!!💕
Good but also unnecessary
So it kind of was not that great story wise but it was funny 😄. But also the gay parts were just so uncalled for because even if it isn’t that bad lots of people still weren’t allowed to read it so I hope book 10 is not like that
