Legend has it that years ago Disney Imagineers were directed to keep references to Mickey Mouse confined to the Magic Kingdom.  However, the Imagineers had other ideas, and they began hiding subtle references to Mickey Mouse and his friends all throughout Walt Disney World, to be found only by those in the know.
