I hate the way ended without knowing when the next book will arrive. I couldn’t stop reading this one.

Tahereh Mafi’s old stuff was so good. I’m guessing you’ve read Shatter Me so you know, but this new book is so Jenny Han coded ( don’t get me started on how much I hate Jenny Han ) , and just no good. They literally have no feelings or backstory just; Rosa is so beautiful that, and James is so hot this, I mean she tried with the childhood trauma for James and Clara for Rosa, but they just aren’t complex enough characters to make an impact. You can’t read five sentences in the book where how hot the other one is doesn’t come up. Also breaking up two of your fandom’s favorite couples is just rude; I mean we waited so long for Brendan and Winston to get together; and Kenji and Nazeera were perfect together, and unless they get back together I am planning on starting a movement where we ignore the canonnity of this book, like as an example; the Megamind fandom when it comes to Megamind 2.
