Phillip Randall looked at the weathered torch in his hands and felt calm.
He walked over to the window and reflected on his old-fashioned surroundings. He had always loved wild Liverpool with its fresh, few fields. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel calm.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Naomi Greenway. Naomi was an understanding knight with pretty eyelashes and ugly moles.
