Just didn’t like it.
I tried. Finishing was difficult. Ms. Howard is one of my favorite authors. I have several of her books. I felt nothing for any of the characters, which was very surprising. She’s always been able to pull me in. Always consumed by her writing. Can’t put my finger on one thing. Did not believe in either main character. Did not feel the love. Expected more. I was bored to death! One question, which I didn’t feel was answered. Why was Bogan not responding normally? Perhaps it was answered but I missed it. Oh well.
