Warrior Elite Series Book 8
I hate the ISC. Life has been nothing but misery and torment since they abducted my family and began experimenting on us.
There's nothing I wouldn't do to protect my loved ones, including going toe-to-toe with an ice giant. His subzero temperatures overpower my flames while his brutal hands force my omega body into submission. I fight with all my might until the world implodes and I realize I don't have a choice.
I must rely on the alpha I hate worse than the ISC.
Will he save me and my family, or will he wreck me in ways the ISC never could?
**This story is knot for the faint of heart. It is a dark, action-packed, enemies-to-lovers Omegaverse romance set in a world where violence and sexual situations occur. Scenes are not glossed over. Sensitive readers please abstain.**

Settling Half of Her Heart
‘Where my fire burns hot, his subzero temperature chills, but he doesn’t snuff out my flames. He gives them a safe place to burn as hotly as they need, never melting, never constricting, just providing an igloo of support. He gives me space to let loose without fear of causing harm.’
Fiery Omega Tamara becomes the mate of Icy Commander Ru’en, in V.T.Bonds’ 8th Warrior Elite series book, Wronged and Wrecked. Narration on the audiobook is accomplished by Tor Thom and Vivienne LaRue and helps support the intricacies of this dark omegaverse story.
In Bonds’ omegaverse stories, we find physical and emotional extremes that pull us in as readers of this fantasy format. Deep and dark, these characters are survivors, fighting against those that oppress them (ISC) and also their emotional connections. That is, until the mate connection comes into play, and they are forced to find a way to connect to their other being.
These stories are not for the faint of heart. They drag us through painful experiences and have us feeling emotions deep in the well of our own beings.
Bonds is a master storyteller, as we read when mates are found for each of these unique warriors, but understand the depth of the thread of that unites two hearts, thus completing each soul.
Smoking hot meets freezing cold
I truly adore the ways the lifemates are so well matched. I think this story epitomizes that. But before the good stuff, there was pain and confusion and determination. Although Tamara was as much a victim as any of the other omegas rescued from the clutches of the ISC, the role she was forced to play did not convey the nature of her involvement. She was treated harshly and the rescue was somewhat incomplete since not everyone was saved. That put her, a human fireball, on a collision course with a very angry but mostly contained ice giant. I really enjoyed this installment and continue to marvel at the way V.T. Bonds keeps bringing the heat for story after story on this amazing series. Truly well done!
Warrior Elite Book 8
Although part of a series this can be read as a standalone. I love the dynamic of different ethnics and having Tamara as Latino and her use of Spanish is epic. We find Tamara has a special ability when her world was invaded by the ISC and her and her family were used as science experiments. When Warrior Elite team with Commander Ru’en, Thret, and Choku go to find missing teammate Jokur, the Commander finds the omega that can thaw his frozen Frigant heart. I love learning more about these characters and their journey to love and finding their mates. Tamara’s spiciness is refreshing and amusing against the stoic Commander. Love this series and the cameos from the Alpha Elite characters. The fact that the author clues us in that the next lifemate may be Thret’s is poetic.
