Going to be a good series
I loved Darcy Burkes historical series so thought I'd give this contemporary romance a try. This is the second in a series of stand alone romance novels, that, from the first in the series that I've read, I'd put on par with Bella Andre or Barbara Freethy. Overall good writing, interesting characters. My biggest criticism of this book is that the ending came a little too neatly. It seemed there was too much preamble into the whole family that Burke ran out of time and just suddenly snapped her fingers and all the tension that built in the book was instantly resolved. I love a happy ending, this one just didn't feel completely genuine. Even still, I'll go back and read Sara's story (book one).
