I'm pretty sure my friend is trying to set me up with her boyfriend's older brother.
Which would be fine.
If I hadn't just gotten out of a relationship.
And, if said older brother hadn't ridden with me in an ambulance after I had a seizure a few weeks ago.
Oh, and let's not forget about the fact that I work with his oldest daughter, either.
Because that's not weird at all.
My friend says I'm being prickly.
That he's a catch and deserves a real chance.
And honestly? She's right on both counts.
He's annoyingly gorgeous, and has the personality of a golden retriever, which happens to be my favorite dog, not that it matters.
Because I refuse to cross that bridge and date him.
But friends?
Sure. I can do friends.
If I don't strangle him first.
More than that, though?
Well, it's not gonna happen.
Or at least that's what I thought, until we find ourselves sharing his bed in a raging snow storm...
Yeah. I'm in trouble.

Entertaining
I found Don’t Let Me Break entertaining and easy to read and I was quickly drawn into the story that Ms. Rae wove.
I enjoy friends to lovers story and Macklin (Mack) and Kate’s journey was full of ups and down. Kate is a college student who has epilepsy which added an additional layer to the story and was handled well by Ms. Rae. Mack is nine years older and as you would expect their views on life are different.
Mack was such a great character and I really fell for him and I admired how supportive he was of Kate. Watching Kate come into her own as she grew through the story was heart warming.
