Publisher Description
Brynn Bailey is unique even for a member of the Shifter Squad. She's half lamia and half shifter and she thought she would never find anyone like herself. That all changed when Prince Gedniah was drawn to her world. He doesn't have a fully human form, but he and his clan are eerily similar to lamias.
A month has passed since the snake-people arrived and now the prince has asked to see her. Brynn is cautious and is aware that he cast a mysterious spell on her when they first met. Despite her trepidation, she agrees to see him. She's never met anyone like him before and feels irresistibly drawn to him.
Gedniah's people are in trouble and he needs her help to save them. Brynn is torn when she finds out exactly what he wants from her. She's the only one who can prevent his clan from dying, but agreeing to his plan could cost her more than she's willing to give up.

Prince’s Bride - Is a Royal Marriage in the air??
I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review.
For those of you who have come to expect a great read from J.C. Diem this latest book does not disappoint.
Written from the point of view of Brynn it is the story of her finding her true mate in Gedniah a “hot snake guy” from another dimension. He along with some of his people have been bought to Brynn’s world by the old gods and have no way to get home.
His people are dying on this world and to save his people Prince Gedniah needs to bind himself to this world but he has found that because he was not born of this world he needs to be bound to a supernatural creature who was born here. Brynn is fighting her attraction to the prince as she wants a true mate not to be bound by an obligation to save his people.
Along the way we get to see another being who has been bought here, but this one is not so friendly! A mission to hunt down a mysterious being who is killing humans in a small town brings an ally to help them.
It seems that Fate is definitely interfering in the lives of this generation as she did with their parents and this time it is up to Liam, Nick, Sydney, Brynn, Alex, Yasmine and Crowmon along with the “Zombie Squad” of Emma, Ike and the mice to be called on to save the world.
I wonder who the next one to find their mate will be? And will Alex ever get to be reunited with her mate, Jax? And can Irene’s spells over Alex ever be broken?
I highly recommend this series. A great read and with the way J.C. Diem writes her characters you come to feel like they are all old friends. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and to see how many more twists there will be to the story…..
