CAMDEN by Sawyer Bennett, book eight in the Pittsburgh Titans series, is Camden and Danica's story.

Camden was one of the lucky three to survive the Pittsburgh Titans plane crash. Camden thought he was dealing with things well until he ran into Danica, a teammate's widow. As Camden and Danica start spending time together, feelings start to grow, but Camden can't get past Mitch's ghost.

I enjoyed Camden and Danica's story as a whole. Camden, Danica and Travis fit together well as a family once they are able to get around the ghosts of the past. I was not a fan of how the book just ends and doesn't feel finished.

Audio... Aaron Sheadlock and Savannah Peachwood did another great job narrating. Both narrators are easy to listen to and bring out the emotions of the story and make you feel like you are part of the story with the characters.

A team meeting of survivors and team members finds Camden Poe up close and personal with Danica Brandt, widow of Camden’s late teammate Mitch Brandt but throughout their growing relationship including Camden’s relationship with Danica’s nine year old son Travis, Camden struggles with issues of guilt, that will affect Danica’s growing love for our story line hero.What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Danica and Camden, and the potential fall-out as Camden battles between head and heart, and the team he is desperate to protect.

The world building continues to focus on the loss and plane crash that killed the Pittsburgh Titans. As the team rebuilds each member will find peace and happiness with someone they love.

The relationship between Danica and Camden is an acquaintance to friends to lovers in which Danica is looking forward to moving on from the past but Camden is hoping to keep everything on the down low. As Danica begins to fall in love, Camden begins to pull away, leaving Danica heart broken and alone. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic, and passionate without the use of the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include several of the previous story line couples, including team owner Brienne Norcross, and Danica’s nine year old son Travis.

CAMDEN is a story of loss and grief, guilt and forgiveness, heart break, acceptance and love. The premise is captivating, engaging, and riveting; the romance is emotional and fated; the characters are broken but healing and strong.

Camden is one of the lucky three who did not die in the team's plane crash and he never dealt with the survivor guilt that comes with the tragedy. Danica Brandt lost her husband in the plane crash and has slowly regain her happy center along with the help of her son Travis. She reconnects with Camden who was her husband Mitch's friend and he will start helping her and Travis in small way. Slowly their friendship will start becoming more and Camden will open up about the crash and his feelings.
Not willing to fracture his new team/family he wants to keep their involvement secret until he hurts Danica and everything is changed for both of them. This is a story of rebirth, and the powerful emotion that is guilt and the trauma it leaves on its trail. This story will bring strong emotions and tears for the loss of people left behind. One of the best Titans story !
