Took a difficult topic and made it a love story
The characters were portrayed with faults and flaws but loveable to each other. They acted the way they probably would have in real life - genuinely but with flaws and mistakes. The topics of mental health, drug addiction and abuse are tackled, illustrating that even the most seemingly put together person can respond with insecurities and from a source of personal pain. And are still capable of love. There were some typos that took away from the story a bit but I gave it a rare 5 out 5, thinking it was closer to a 4.5 out of 5 given how well these sensitive topics were addressed without romanticizing or minimizing them. I appreciated the story and the care that went into writing it, as well as the quality of the dialogue. I know that can be hard to convincingly and realistically convey. Bravo.

Garrett and Hannah are music stars also know as Reaper of the Black Friday rock band and Harmony the Nashville country singer. When they accidentally meet, sparks fly, strong chemistry is felt and their lives are about to change in a way they never saw coming. Sensitive issues like abuse both physically and emotionally and low self esteem are portrayed in Hannah and anger issues, drugs and alcohol, groupies, are portrayed in Garret’s . Together, they become a very powerful couple, their love for each other is a priority and it’s just the beginning. This authors writing has you hooked from the beginning!
