Publisher Description
He needs a temporary wife. She needs health insurance.
They both need to stop looking at each other like that.
Lily Parker's rule: never commit to anything longer than eleven months. Leases, relationships, shampoo brand—you name it.
Then a patch of ice, one dislocated knee, and the humiliating admission that she never got health insurance land her in Nash Donnelly's guest room. Nash, who she's had a crush on since she was approximately nine years old. Nash, who is now standing in his kitchen looking like that in a three piece suit.
Totally fine. Not torturous at all.
Except Nash needs something from her too: A temporary wife—just until he can override the ancient bank bylaw his scheming brother is using to steal his job. The trade: health insurance for a wedding ring.
Purely convenient. No feelings. Just a liiiittle bit of all-consuming yearning.
Lily has broken every rule she's ever made.
This one will be definitely be different.

Blooming Great
Oh my goodness ! I absolutely could not get enough of Lily and Nash ! I enjoyed the first books ( this being book 3 but standalone story) so much but this is my favourite. Fairwick Falls is the small town setting , the three Parker sisters inherited Bloom from their father . Lily was up close and personal with Nash after lights out …in the basement finding the breaker. She has crushed on her older sister’s best friend since they were young , they grew up together and he treated her just like a sister too.. Then he saw her five years ago in New York out with her girlfriends sassy confident and sexy.
Nash hadn’t stopped thinking of her since, but he was born to be the next leader of the Donnelly family, a bedrock of the small Fairwick Falls community. He was duty-bound to care for the community like his family before him. Lily, however, hated anything that had a whiff of permanence. He’d very purposefully given Lily a wide berth, trying his best to stay away from her since she’d temporarily moved back to Fairwick Falls eight months ago for that reason . Then something happened to Lily she has to move in with him for a downstairs bedroom just at the same time his brother is after ousting him from the bank… Convenient as she’s already living with him , why not get married? …like you do. She needs health insurance and he has some. The chemistry arced from the first meet and hooked from the prologue. Oh my …Great writing as always by this prolific author , the descriptions and inner thoughts were divine, good characters with depth and a great community too.A compelling read indeed. I was forwarded this book and I am leaving my review in my own thoughts voluntarily
