I love Sarina’s books but …
I am amazed to find myself saying that this book fell short of Sarina’s usual brilliant standard. The long winded love story between childhood friends Leila, Rory and Matteo lacked depth and became boring as it was dragged to a conclusion. It left me with questions, why was Rory so unpleasant when he supposedly loved her and why did Matteo run away for so long when he supposedly loved her? I found it a disappointing read.
