Fantastic 2nd book
Book 2 of Montgomery Fort Collins series by Carrie Ann Ryan
Eliza is newer members of the clang but fits in really well with other characters.
Eliza was married military man that was always away a lot of the time this is how she became friends with the Montgomery lot especially the women.
Beckett is a Montgomery and works in family architects/construction company. He is always had a thing for Eliza but has kept his distance because she was married to Marshal but when he died things changed he tried to keep his distance but that was very difficult.
Eliza and Beckett have all secrets that eventually they tell each other and were able to work through their issues.
The chemistry is off the charts I love the way relationship develops The romantic scenes are incredibly lovely and sexy at the same time.
I did listen to this as an audiobook and as always Carrie Ann Ryan does a amazing job writing but also Emma Wilder is a fantastic narrator so you can do both male and female accents and does it with a fantastic quality this is the first time I’ve listened to Aaron Shedlock And even though I did enjoy him as a narrator I won’t lie at the at times I did feel that Joe Arden does have a better job which is mean to say but he does and I absolutely love him.
Looking forward to more in the series cannot be Carrie Ann Ryan for romance book in any genre really hope that Joe Arden is in the future ones because I do love him
A fabulously exciting and unexpected read
This is a fabulous instalment in the Fort Collins Montgomery’s series. Full of the normal exciting and romance, but also some totally unexpected twists and turns. I really enjoyed this book and the amazing characters and their deep and emotional relationship.
A truly enjoyable read and I highly recommend it.
