The fun comes in watching Harry slowly and brilliantly separate the seemingly impossibly knotted strands and then knit them back into whole cloth. This exciting procedural is as good as any in the series, and Connelly's concluding coda has a kicker about Harry's private life that will draw gasps of astonishment from longtime readers. Twists and turns
A story that leads you from nothing to building a web of pathways that ultimately leads Harry to the conclusion. Great detail, which is what we expect from Michael Connelly.
Brilliant
This is a wonderful book and takes Bosch to another level. MC has created a character that is so easy to relate to and to like for all the wrong reasons. The story lines in this book are excellent and I recommend anyone interested in crime investigative writing to read this and of course any fan of Bosch will love it. Certainly up there with any of his books and a challenger for be his best.
Mike & Harry Do It Again!
Great Detective Fiction, a good read with many twists & turns. An old read but a good one - considering the many new novels in this series. Browsed iBooks store & realised it was the only one I hadn't read - had to have it. Not disappointed, even here Harry's character is well developed, intricate, moral & determined. An excellent buy - well worth it. Read in one sitting, you become so involved in the narration, identifying with the characters, so much so that you can see yourself acting just like them.
