THE LORD OF THE RINGS
‘Extraordinarily imaginative, and wholly exciting’
The Times
The armies of the Dark Lord are massing as his evil shadow spreads even wider. Men, Dwarves, Elves and Ents unite forces to battle against the Dark. Meanwhile, Frodo and Sam struggle further into Mordor in their heroic quest to destroy the One Ring.
The devastating conclusion of J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic tale of adventure, begun in The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers.

Perfect
I only read these books because a colleague of mine said they were his favourite.
I’ve always scoffed at their cultural impact and assumed that they were overrated.
They’re not. They’re amazing and lovely and perfect.
This book is the perfect ending to the trilogy + the hobbit. I will never forget the beautifully crafted world Tolkien created.
EXCELLENT!
I read these books when I was young and after visiting Hobbiton in New Zealand read them again. They are brilliantly written.
