100 Prize-Winning Recipes from Pillsbury's 2nd Grand National Recipe and Baking Contest

We all love to exchange recipes, whether they’re old family favorites or present-day inventions. And, of course, we at Pillsbury are particularly proud to help the 100 prize-winners of our Second Grand National Baking Contest share their recipes with you through this book.


You will notice that some of these recipes are Junior winners. You see, for a long time we had felt that recognition should be given to the excellent baking that is being done by teen-age girls. So we planned a special Junior Contest as part of our Second Grand National—and as a result, there were 25 girls (age 12 to 19) among the 100 contestants in the big Bake-Off at the Waldorf.


We think you will enjoy baking both the Junior and Senior recipes. And we believe you will find an exciting new food idea in every one of them.
