Publisher Description
I deal in code.
Well, code, social anxiety, and online gaming.
What I don’t deal in is hockey players.
And I certainly don’t deal in hockey players like Connor Smith. He’s brass. He’s loud. He’s funny and charming and…ballsy.
I’m about the furthest thing from ballsy someone can find.
Yet, Connor doesn’t seem to care. From the moment I began working on the player development program for the Baltimore Breakers, Connor had led a campaign to win my heart.
The thing is, I don’t actually want my heart to be won, and the more Connor campaigns, the more I resist. And…the more I resist and argue and push back, the more I find out that I actually can be ballsy.
And the worst thing about that?
It makes Connor campaign even harder.

So beautiful
Most romance novels have a rough patch where the couple angrily or hurtfully breaks up and don't see each other for a while and then there's the climax when they get back together. This is not that. This is just one slow, sweet love story that develops into just the most beautiful romance I've read in a very long time. It's a keeper.
Horrible editing!
I just couldn’t continue reading this after 10%. The editing makes the writer content look it was written by a middle school kid. Or did someone skip an editor? It needs to be fixed in too many places to be enjoyed.
The characters still hadn’t connected. The female character is too unlikable and the male should look elsewhere.
Poor grammar
The story was okay, but the references to Smitty and Kailey were confusing. It was ‘her’ when it should have been ‘my’ so often that it was confusing.
