Publisher Description
Remington’s most notoriously single,
notoriously sexy surgeon
is about to fall for the one woman
he can’t have…
Did I mention that she's
A) his best friend
B) immune to his panty-melting charm, and
C) sleeping on his couch for the next six weeks?
But Jonah’s not made for commitment,
and a good man is the one thing Natalie deserves.
Not someone who can only offer up
a couple of sizzling hot, no-strings-attached nights
of pure pleasure.
Unless that’s what she wants.
Because Jonah wants her. And with each
moment they spend working together—
living together—
the harder it is to resist temptation.
And even harder to resist the fall that
might break them both…
A steamy medical contemporary romance from USA Today best-selling author Kimberly Kincaid. Watch this cocky hero fall head over scalpel for his sweet and sexy BFF. Full-length standalone story with action in the emergency room and the bedroom, and a sweet-and-sexy happily ever after.

This is a good friends to lovers book with a few twists involved!
This is a good friends to lovers book with a few twists involved! All I could do was laugh at Natalie’s luck! The underlying level of comedy in this storyline was so worth it! Jonah is Natalie’s best friend but wasn’t necessarily willing to help her when she becomes homeless after a freak accident. She somewhat inserts herself into his personal space, and the chemistry starts to grow from there. I really felt for Natalie and her past and how it paralleled to the patient she was working with. The more time Jonah and Natalie spent outside of work and in his personal space, the more chemistry that developed and the more they fought it. When they both find out things about each other that nobody else knows, they develop more than a friendship and I was totally rooting for them! When Natalie’s past threatens to ruin what they’ve started, the question is how both of them will handle it and if they will make it out together. Overall, this was a good read with a HEA that we all needed.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Emotional ups and downs
Loved it. I love the setting and characters at Remington Medical. Jonah and Natalie have been best friends for 4 years. Jonah is a one night stand kinda guy. When Natalie is displaced from her home she moves in with Jonah. They discover so much more about each other as friends. They go through ups and downs. This story is so touching and well written. Kimberly Kincaid has a wonderful way with words that draw you in and keep you riveted to the story. Kudos to Kimberly Kincaid.
Incredible best friends to true love journey
Natalie and Jonah are amazing friends. She is the ray of sunshine, always full of hope while Jonah carries the darker viewpoint, not believing love is possible for him. When Natalie needs a place to stay while her apartment is repaired, Jonah steps up even though having someone live with him, even Natalie, makes him nervous. As these two spend more and more time together through work and living together, feelings and attraction grow. But Jonah is the one-night stand guy with Natalie looking for a long-term relationship. What will Jonah do when he realizes Natalie wants that one-night with him? Will he say yes? Will he be able to keep his heart hardened from her? Or will Natalie breakthrough and melt away all his walls? This is not an easy journey for them. They both have new challenges thrown at them that they must tackle which may be just what they need to find a true forever love.
