Good banter between characters. Good short story
An Excellent Beginning
I loved this book! I read it in like 3 hours and could not put it down. I loved Blaine and Mira, and I hope we get to see them in future books. The author did a great job introducing the world to us, letting us get to know the major characters. The book didn’t end on a cliffhanger, but it did leave me wanting to know what would happen next.
Ugh
Let’s just cut to the chase. The female is toxic. No matter how kind he is to her, she finds a way to try to make him mad. SHE EVEN ASSAULTS HIM AND MAKE HIM OUT TO BE THE BAD GUY!!!! 😤
She doesn’t even attempt to let his brother understand that it was entirely her fault how things came about and allowed him to baby her like she was the freaking victim. Just disgusting!
