Skye Druids
Donna Grant is a great story teller. One thing I love about this book is that Donna weaved in characters from her other books but made is so that you want to read her other books but does not take away from this book nor is it necessary (but I highly encourage one) to read her other series to understand this book. It is beautifully written. Like her other books, this one does not disappoint. She gives you a great story, ends with a happy ending, but also leaves you with anticipation for the next one.
Great addition to the series
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I enjoyed Jasper and Willa’s story. Willa has come to Skye to meet up with her brother Scott after a failed attempt to collect “the book” Beth has in her possession. If you haven’t read any other books in the series, I would recommend starting at the beginning because Grant’s world building in each book and while can be read as a standalone, you’d miss out on details and backstory of the characters.
I loved Jaspers story and felt more of a connection to him than Willa. He had such character growth and wanted to right his wrongs. Willa was a bit of a limp noodle for me. She was fine but didn’t have much spine. Also, i didn’t like Scott’s behavior in the book. He came across as an over bearing jerk who didn’t trust his sister to handle herself. But he could go off at a moments whim on a search for their dad and call her after he left. Ugh.
Can’t wait for some of the evil storylines to wrap up as keeping track of all the bad guys is starting to hurt my brain (and our characters brains as well!).
Mesmerizing & Spellbindinng!
Loved reading the mesmerizing and spellbinding paranormal story. Jasper is sent to infiltrate the Skye Druids and get to know Willa, but when Jasper saves Willa's life, his attraction for her and his developing feelings for Willa become a hindrance to his mission. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written with captivating characters, and a must read riveting love story. Can't wait to read the next story in the series by the phenomenal author, Donna Grant!
